Conclusion
Overall, Mexican Americans had a rough time in the US in the early 1800s. The US trespassed on Mexican soil and took half of its land. After the Mexican-American War, Mexico became the poorest Hispanic country and Mexicans weren’t allowed in the US. In the early 1900s, Mexicans and Americans put aside their differences
and Mexicans were now allowed in America. But after a while Mexicans were segregated and had limited jobs. Life for Mexican Americans has been tough, therefore, they never achieved the American Dream.
